If you’re looking for #couplegoals then look no further than these two lovebirds! Ryan + Syeda’s senior and lovebird session in Denton, TX was the perfect remedy to the quarantine blues. 

SENIOR SESSION

This May, Syeda was supposed to graduate from the University of North Texas with a degree in teaching. Unfortunately, COVID-19 had other plans and she wasn’t able to walk the stage, celebrate with family and friends, or commemorate the special occasion with cap and gown photos. Ryan and I attended several years of school together but lost touch after high school. I had no idea that he even still followed my photography work. Ryan wished to gift his sweet wife a session to honor her hard work, and I couldn’t have agreed more! 

We started the session at UNT. It’s been a few years since I’ve spent any time at the campus, but in my college days, we used to go dancing at Cowboys Red River. Syeda and I had such a fun time exploring the beautiful campus while Ryan chauffeured us around, including the Matthews Hall, the building in which she spent all her time. My favorite images are of Syeda under the book arch. I loved this time with her! She is the most adorable and sweetest human! 

LOVEBIRD SESSION

For the lovebird portion of our session, we ventured to a local park in Denton, Texas. We made it just in time for golden hour (and a dust storm!). Ryan and I told funny stories from our middle school days, Syeda recalled how she and Ryan eloped, and we all talked about how to keep ourselves busy during a time of quarantine and social distancing. 

While I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful session chasing golden rays into blue hour, the best part about my time with these two was capturing their obvious love for each other. With each word spoken or movement made, their love was evident. 

I couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect way to break quarantine! Spending the evening with Ryan + Syeda was the best remedy to spark creativity. And, well…a great reason to get off the couch and out of Nike shorts.
